Terms of Use
Last updated: October 28, 2026
These terms are between you and Sllips LLC ("Sllips", "we"). By creating an account or using Sllips, you agree to them.
What Sllips is
- Sllips is a tool that apartment communities, HOAs, garages and parking lot owners (each a "property") use to manage parking. Each property sets its own parking rules, prices, lot hours and who may park where. Questions about those go to that property.
- Parking without a valid permit, or past the time you paid for, can lead to a citation, a boot or a tow, under the property's posted rules and local law.
Your account
- Everyone needs their own account, and you're responsible for keeping your password safe.
- Give accurate information, especially your license plate. A wrong plate can mean your car isn't recognized as permitted.
- Resident, guest, staff, vendor, renter and manager codes are for the person they were given to. Don't share or guess them.
Permits and payments
- A permit is valid only for the lot, times and vehicle shown in the app.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. If a booking can't be completed after you pay (for example, the space was just taken), your payment is refunded automatically.
- Refunds and cancellations are covered in the next section.
- Monthly permits are charged every month until cancelled, and you can cancel any time in the app.
Refunds and cancellations
Prices
- Each property sets its own parking prices. All prices are in US dollars (USD).
- You always see the price in the app before you pay, and you pay before your permit is made.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Sllips never sees or stores your full card number.
Automatic refunds
If you pay but we can't give you what you paid for, your payment is refunded in full to the card you used, automatically. For example:
- the space or the last spot in the lot was taken while you were paying
- the price changed while you were paying
- you're no longer allowed to park there (for example, your lease has ended)
- an extension couldn't be added to your permit
Refunds usually reach your card within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
Cancelling a permit
- You can cancel a permit in the app at any time: open the permit and tap Cancel. If you've already parked and are leaving early, tap I've Left.
- Cancelling or leaving early doesn't refund the unused time automatically.
Monthly permits
- Monthly permits are charged when you book, then again every month on the same day until cancelled.
- Cancel any time in the app by opening the permit and tapping Cancel. Billing stops right away and the permit ends right away. The rest of the month isn't refunded automatically.
- If you move out, your lease ends, or your property ends your parking, the monthly billing stops too.
Lot closures and property changes
If your property closes a lot or changes its parking, permits you already have stay valid unless the property cancels them, and you're notified. Refunds for those changes follow your property's policy.
Asking for a refund
For anything else, email support@parkingsllips.com with the email on your Sllips account, the property, the date and the amount. We'll review it with your property and reply. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. It's usually faster.
Reports, warnings and towing
- Report cars honestly. False or abusive reports can lead to your account being closed.
- When your car is reported, we try to warn you before it goes to enforcement. The warning is a courtesy, not a guarantee: notifications can be delayed or turned off.
- Towing and enforcement decisions are made by your property and its enforcement company, under their rules and local law. Sllips doesn't tow or boot cars, and isn't responsible for those decisions, their fees, or any damage. Those are between you, your property and its enforcement company.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app. That includes trying to access other people's accounts, guessing codes, or interfering with the service.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time (see Deleting your account in the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers and limits
Sllips is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, or that every notification will arrive on time.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Sllips LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid through Sllips in the 12 months before the claim. You agree to cover our losses caused by your misuse of Sllips or by breaking these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Disputes go to the state or federal courts there, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll post changes here and update the date above. If you keep using Sllips after a change, you accept the new terms.
